Sunny's Pop x Zero + Maria Cornejo
We’re excited to welcome Sunny’s Pop to our Los Angeles community! The upstate New York, lifestyle store, created by our longtime friend Sunrise Ruffalo, is making its West Coast debut with a month long pop-up inside our Melrose Place store. Thrilled to join forces with another independent, woman-owned business, we can’t wait to share more of Sunny’s Pop's one-of-a-kind homewares and specialty gifts.
The in-store residency includes a curated selection of specialty home decor such as alpaca and cashmere throws, handmade ceramics, and multifunctional statement pieces.
Below, Sunrise shares more with us about a few of the pieces available at our Los Angeles store.
“These ceramics were made by an upstate artisan by the name of Matthew Soloman, who creates incredible pieces out of clay. He did a series of fruits for our store that are exclusive to us. His glazes are all unique and one-of-a-kind and I absolutely love it. I think it’s great for sort of sitting on a mantle, or a stack of books, or a shelf... could look beautiful on a coffee table. It could look beautiful anywhere.“
“The red and blue blanket is my go-to blanket. It is so soft and it was made in Nepal by a small group of artisans. There’s something about the color that I find so appealing, so vibrant, and I recommend everyone get one!”
“These beautiful hand-carved bowls are made from reclaimed wood that’s found all over New England. They’re from a small, family-owned business that’s been around for a long time and they are finished in what we call a milk paint.”
